Commercial Floral Design Dallas: Curate Designs TIB’s Headquarters
When TIB, a Dallas based bank, opened the doors on its new headquarters, every material in the building had been chosen with intention: walnut wood, black steel framed glass, brushed brass, and veined marble, all set against a moody, elevated palette. A space built with that much care needed commercial floral design to match it, plants and florals substantial enough to feel like part of the architecture rather than an addition to it. TIB brought in Curate, working alongside Baker Design Group, the interior design firm behind the build, to make that happen.
The Brief: Greenery Equal to the Build
Curate’s task was to bring cohesive plant and floral design across TIB’s full headquarters footprint, the main reception, multiple lounge areas, a media room, and a wet bar, all while working in step with Baker Design Group’s interior vision. The brief called for greenery that could hold its own in a space this considered, plants substantial enough to anchor a room, and styled accents refined enough to sit beside brass, marble, and hand selected art without ever feeling like an afterthought.
The Design Detail: Commercial Floral Design in Every Corner
Curate leaned on architectural plants, yucca, potted palms, and an olive tree in a pewter urn, to anchor corners and windows throughout the space, echoing the vertical lines of the iron framed glass walls. At the reception desk, matching ornamental grasses were placed in identical black planters on either side of the marble slab desk, framing the space with quiet symmetry. Across nearly every lounge table, a signature motif repeats: twin silver ball vases holding succulent and dried pod arrangements, a small, consistent detail that visually threads together seating areas that might otherwise feel disconnected. Near the wet bar, one dramatic arrangement of branches, succulents, and orchids in a textured brass vase became a focal moment against the space’s graphic wall art. Every plant and stem was chosen in soft sage greens and warm neutral tones, a color story built to complement the black steel, walnut, brass, and stone Baker Design Group had already set in place.
The Reveal: One Considered Space
The result is a headquarters that feels complete rather than decorated, greenery and floral moments woven through reception, lounge, and bar areas so consistently that the whole floor reads as one considered space rather than a series of separate rooms. It is corporate design with genuine warmth, proof that a bank lobby can feel as intentional as any residence.
